Just for You Tilda Card

Indeed, I did some chores today! I ironed a week of dress shirts for my DH, washed two more loads, plus a load of towels, weeded one of my planters, and did a little packing of some things to make way for the new craft space. I also made a skirt for the trash can in the craft alcove. "Shabby Chic" is the theme, and the silver mesh pail was a little too industrial, so I dressed it up with a floral skirt.
I finally mentioned to my daughter that her dad is making me a space for my crafting in an area of the room she sleeps in (when she comes home). I thought that was a gentle way to make the break from "your room" to the "guest room." She seemed ok. She comes home for the weekend...we'll see what she says then!
Since I accomplished so much today, I was rewarded with some time to make a card. This little pink-and-brown number is for the CLP Challenge #25. I was quite taken by the sketch when I first saw it, and immediately planned to turn it.

Image--Tilda (Magnolia Stamps)
Sentiment, cupcakes--(Hampton Arts)
Designer paper (upper)--Basic Grey
Pink paper--stamped with Sepia ink swirls
White dahlia flowers--MS embossing punch
Ribbon, brads, little brown flowers, little red rhinestones
Speckled cardstock--source unknown
Stickles

The Copics used to color Tilda
(these are from Set 1 at Magnolia-licious):

Above is the inside of this all-occasion card.

This is a close-up of the inside cupcakes with their
Stickles icing and their rhinestone cherry!

I had a blast making this card!

Maybe I was hungry--with all my busyness today, I forgot to eat lunch!
If we hadn't gobbled up all the Salisbury Steak for dinner, I would post the recipe. I'll be making it again soon, judging by how well it was received!

More ironing tomorrow, also some lawn fertilizing.
(I sure do live life in the fast lane!)
Another day, another card!
