Father's Day Card

Welcome to Sunday at Making Stuff Daily! I am sharing a card I made yesterday, after my trip to the hardware store. I was looking for embellishments that are more masculine in nature, since flowers and pearls and rhinestones and such can be more on the feminine side. I found screening, burlap, nuts, and these really cool looking locking washers! Plus I spelled out DAD in those little self-sticking letters you use on your mailbox!

Above is the front...click on the picture to see a bigger photo, to see the embellishments.

The inside is a necktie I cut out free-hand, with the Happy Father's Day
stamped in a die-cut scalloped oval;
I inked the edges for emphasis.

Challenges:
Cute Card Thursday--anything but square
The Shabby Tea Room--Father's Day
Stamptacular--fathers
Stamp Something--happy something
